Kerala, southern India
Before racing across the Indian Ocean from the southern hemisphere, India was situated next to Madagascar. 5000 of km apart, the high-temperature metamorphic terranes in both countries are nearly identical. I went to the southern tip of India (the spice coast) to see these beautiful outcrops (mostly quarries and coastal exposures) firsthand. Fresh coconut, incredible spices, and tea plantations were other highlights.
